Creating a new topic for things that apply to any TH level.  In this message, we want to point out that you have to path the troop and not the defense.  In other words, when you try to figure out where your attacker is going to go after finishing off its current building then you have to look for the closest place for it to attack next and NOT look to see what is the closest defense to that building.  Here's an example:

In this example, the attacker wanted to go from cannon to cannon.  They placed their giants or hogs at the green 1 and they ran over to the green 2 to attack that cannon.  After killing it, they then calculate what's the next closest defense to attack - which is indicated by the two green ? marks.  They're pretty close to the same distance and it turns out they went to the mortar instead and the attack didn't go as well as planned.

What would have happened if they had dropped the troops at the yellow 1 instead?  They would have gone to the yellow 2 position to attack the cannon.  And when they finished and looked for the next closest defense, would have gone to the yellow ! mark since it is much closer than the yellow ? mark.  So when you're trying to do something tricky like this, be sure to look at where the attackers will go instead of just measuring from the center of one defense to the centers of neighboring defenses.

The introduction of Baby Dragons to the game may cause problems for our TH4-6 since they only take 10 spaces and may be harder to kill than those dreaded cc valks... at least until you master this trick.  This is also a good way for our TH7+ to take care of cc Dragons as well.
